Tenancy cancellation form

The rental agreement can only be terminated after you have rented for at least one year. The notice period is at least one calendar month; you are required to submit your notice of termination before the first of the month at the latest.

Partner/cohabitation
If you are married or if the rental agreement is also registered in the name of your partner, the notice of termination must be signed by both parties.

Taking over of fixtures and fittings
You might have inventory that you would like to offer to the new tenant, such as curtains or a floor. We offer to give your contact details to the new tenant, without interference of MVGM. By agreeing with the sharing of your telephone number and e-mailaddress, the new tenant can contact you for the fixtures and fittings and plan a viewing.

The notice of termination is binding; it cannot be withdrawn unilaterally by you once you have terminated the rental agreement.

New address and contact details

No new address because the tenant has passed away

You are required to send a copy of the valid death certificate if you wish to give notice of termination on behalf of a tenant who has died. Your notice of termination is not yet valid without this copy. You can take a photo of the death certificate and upload this using the online form. You can also choose to use an existing photograph or scanned document. Please make sure it is well readable.

We will ask for your contact details in the next fields so that we are able to contact you as the surviving relative if such is necessary.
